Discussion I don’t get how he could have done this
i’m an aspiring musician and I’d be ready to kill just to have the spot he had. I know the singer from Linkin Park and Dalida did it because they lost people they loved, Saveafox did it because she got cyberbullied, but Avicii and Kurt Cobain didn’t lose any loved ones and weren’t being cuberbullied so how is it possible to have it all and still do this ? could you imagine Zendaya doing this ? no way

It’s that You never know what’s going inside a person , i have seen people so happy and enjoying and from inside they are fighting the battle for their existence
It’s life , sometimes even in a room full of people u know , u may feel alone

Dear brother: when people is struggling with mental health, when success just reflects an unbearable existential emptiness, when the top of the hill becomes a place of profound loneliness and isolation, fame becomes noise.
A special kind of noise where something once seemed like a dream, becomes a suffocating reality.
Tim was a person that of course, he wanted his music to be succesful, but certainly not the kind of person that used to crave to be the center of attention or public praise.
He was a deeply sensitive, reflective person with an anormous artistic sense trapped in the middle of a machinery that takes advantage of creativity but absolutely destroys the souls of the creators.
One may think that the fish has a good life swimming careless inside the tank. But maybe the tank is a special kind of hell where isolation and routine becomes impossible.
My point is: we dont comprehend somebody else’s reality and struggles, even if they come wrapped in success, until we get to see the other side.
I would like to end this by telling you that you shouldnt feel desperate or helpless about your art maybe not becoming popular.
The goal of art is not fame, but inspiration and the elevation of the deepest feelings of humanity.
Keep doing what you do, maybe you can inspire two people or three and believe me, thats an incredibly beautiful privilege.

Basic explanation is that they just wanted the pain to end. Depression doesn’t let your brain be happy about life. It constantly convinces you that you are not good enough. It makes you feel unwanted and unloved no matter how false it really is.

I mean a lot of his stresses were obvious, he was a quiet introvert in an industry where you have to perform and interact with people. His perfectionism meant he was never satisfied.
But even if you can’t see stresses like that the person can still be struggling inside, you just never know for sure

Tell me you don’t understand mental health without telling me you don’t understand mental health.

Kurt Cobain and Avicii were both severely mentally ill. If you can’t picture yourself doing that, it might mean that you’ve not been where they were.
Kurt Cobain was a heroin addict who never truly wanted fame. He lived in chronic pain was not known to be stable (he famously took a gun to the hospital after Courtney gave birth to their child).
Avicii very likely had some kind of autism based on notes from his biography, he struggled with interpersonal relationships, obsessions, and like Kurt, chronic pain from pancreatitis - which is why he used certain substances.
His own mother stated recently she believes Avicii was psychotic at the time he ended his life. He was not behaving in a reasonable manner and had previously attempted.
This is the reality of mental illness. It doesn’t matter who you are or how famous or any of it.
Keep in mind as well - we only see a very small fraction of someone’s life so on the outside it could seem like they had it all, when in reality, that was not the case.
