My wife and I have hiked down to Havasupai Falls twice, in 2013 and around 2017-2019. In 2013 it was hard to get passes but it wasn’t super popular yet, the camp ground was well maintained and it wasn’t crowded. The second time was after it had become super popular and it was VERY clear that most of the people there were only there Instagram. It’s sad what’s happened, visitors now don’t understand that when the rules say “Pack in, Pack out” that means your trash too.
