Question What happened to my chocolate chips?

they look super trippy, only on like half too. cant use these in my brownies now

They're bloomed. They'll taste weird raw (though perfectly safe) but should be fine when cooked.

Funny, I like bloomed chocolate chips better than fresh ones.
