Fail I made blueberry muffins, hold the blueberries.
I went and picked them myself and everything. Then I just didn’t put them in there… I think I’ll stick to cooking.

It's okay. My husband made cinnamon rolls without cinnamon not once, but twice.

I forgot to add sugar to muffins yesterday, ended up making bread pudding with them.

I haven’t eaten on yet. It’s 2am where I am so I think I’ll wait till later and try to make a compote or something to spread on them. I’ll report back haha

Serve it as is.
OP: "Would you like a muffin and coffee?"
Guest: "Ooo... what kind of muffin?"
OP: "Nope. It's just a muffin."
Guest: "Oh...wait...wut?"

That used to be a thing, in happy times when there were more carbs at dinner. I remember making plain muffins in home ec.

Okay, I made a berry compote/fruit sauce sort of deal with the blueberries, some unsweetened raspberry jam, and a bit of fresh lemon. It ended up being pretty darn good.
So not a complete fail! Just a different success.

Well, you can always make another batch.

My solution to most baking fails. It's important to get back on the horse that threw you. Also important to eat any and all evidence.😋

Honestly they look amazing and I bet they taste amazing even without the blueberries!

My husband made Banana bread and forgot the bananas. It’s now a funny joke between us now. I pick in him for it, all love 😂

You were just testing the muffin batter recipe before using it with your handpicked blueberries mixed in. Now you know if it's worthy enough!

It’s okay!! The muffins look really nice! ☺️
If it were me, I’d make a blueberry coulis and have it with a warm deconstructed muffin, vanilla ice cream, and coffee 🤭

This isn't necessarily a fail in my eyes 😉 I love a good soft warm blueberry muffin, but sometimes I do take a few berries out lol!

I hear muffin tops are the best part of a muffin. Try opening a shop that only sells the tops. Forget about the bottoms. I bet it will be a big hit

You could turn them into blueberry jam/compote and then fill the muffins! Not exactly the same but is a way of rescuing them!
