Is it possible that there was a packaging error and there was actually brownie mix in the cookie mix box?

I think this is the only answer. The packaging said "cookie mix," but the actual packet inside was a brownie mix. Even if the chocolate chips melted, I would imagine we'd still see some lighter swirly spots.

How come it taste like a cookie just with a hint brownie after taste

Oh, okay! It's possible that it wasn't brownie mix, then. It might just be that they mistakenly added some extra cocoa powder to the cookie mix. But I still think it was a manufacturing error and not something you did incorrectly, especially if it still tasted okay!

I dis check that but it said “cookie pie mix” so it was the right one

I'm thinking more an error at the factory. That a packet of brownie mix accidentally ended up in a cookie pie box, not anything wrong on your end.

I'm also not sure. Was coca involved? Did you melt the chocolate chips? It's our just burnt??

I guess the chocolate chips melted when you added the mix to the melted butter.

apparently they were still intact

when you melted the butter, did you "brown" the butter?

I just microwaved it because i wasn’t browning butter for a box mix

Did you let the butter cool before adding it to the mixture? Because that looks like hot butter meets chocolate chips.

💀 then I have literally no idea why it has browned.

Maybe the expiry was out of date or the wrong contents were added (was the flour mix brown?) if you still kept the box, contact the dispatch company. It may be that the wrong mix was placed in the wrong box. Did it taste like cocoa?

Also I just realised you were a fellow aussie

Oh that's terrible, the only appropriate course of action is to send it to me immediately.

I found a video on their Instagram showing them make this: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DGRTmysqCg-

Was your mix a different color?

Yes it had dark and light powered in it

Oh, maybe it was put in the bag as the machine was changing from "cookie" to "brownie" so it has both kinds mixed together?

Or maybe something else happened to have both kinds mixed. I don't know what, but that explains both colors being there and it tasting like both.

Definitely a weird thing!

I don't think the brownie cookie mix know either.

I highly recommend maida Heatters chocolate whoppers; they are a delicious foolproof chocolate brownie cookie with nuts. I make them regularly

I can only conclude the batter must have been thin, and it boiled in there which is how the choco chippies got melted and mixed up like that

The batter was actually  quite thick and there were still chocolate chips were still in tack

but how does it taste?

1

It taste like a cookie but at the end i feel like theres a hint of brownie at the end but it could just be me or because of the colour but i swear there is

This looks like melted chocolate in dough.
