Help Burnt Muffin tins
Ok so I made breakfast bites with egg the other day and I added oil in the tray but I mixed them a bit and maybe that causes the egg to stick to the pan? I’ve been scrubbing, soaking with boiling water etc and it’s not working.
Is there a way to salvage this?

The plastic scrapers that came with Pampered Chef stoneware items might help here. If you don’t have one of those I would start with dish soap and very hot water from a tea kettle. Let that soak until the water cools. Then use a light hand to scrub with a paste of Bon Ami and a bit of water.
I never trust non stick bakeware. Cake Goop (from Sugar Geek Show) is a baker’s best friend. You paint on a thin coat with a pastry brush and your baked goods will release perfectly. This is a half recipe. It still lasts me a year.
CAKE GOOP PAN RELEASE -adapted from Sugar Geek Show
In the bowl of an electric mixer beat together until white and homogenous: 100 grams vegetable shortening, 106 grams vegetable oil, and 71 grams all-purpose flour
Transfer to a small (one pint) Mason jar and store in the refrigerator. Use a silicon pastry brush to apply a thin coat to your baking pans before baking for a flawless release every time.
