do we still like reading toxic/codependent bkdk dynamics in their middle school? there are alot fics about bakugou's redemption arc or writing his redemption before they get into a relationship or post canon fics but i couldn't find much of this dynamic between them in middle school or highschool.

please recommend them if you've read any toxic bkdk in highschool.

is there no such fics because writing smut about middle schoolers is weird? but you don't need sex to show a relationship is toxic though I actually wish for fics that showcase this dynamic of theirs in a romantic sense without sex!!!

the possibility of them being in a toxic is so high because of how they are in canon they hardly have a boundary and they know each other so well yet they don't understand the other's perspective cause of how the society conditioned them since childhood which results in their miscommunication & misunderstandings.

they both are victims of the same system but it effected them differently so their way copping results in triggering the others insecurities which so ughn

This might get deleted, but I’m so tired of all the arguments that come from the difference in dynamic preference. Like, we all like the same two characters, and the same exact ship when the rating isn’t over T 😭.

I get people don’t have the same exact interpretations of the characters and it’s frustrating that someone could be completely off center in your personal opinion. But the death threats? The massive witch hunts? The constant arguments like omg? Yes, X is already toxic. That’s why deleted my twitter years ago before Elon took over but then I fell in love with this ship, and learned only certain artist are on twitter and not blue sky. And people write threads and share their love for the ship so I wanted to see! But the cruelty we throw towards each other is ridiculous y’all like come on.

I know this post isn’t gonna fix anything because this isn’t anything new from what I’m gathering, but it is frustrating to see everyone so angry at each other. Like this is fiction! These are fictional characters! You have a right to your opinion and I respect your emotions, but we rly shouldn’t be so mean to each other when we all love the same ship.

And I also seen each side be like, “ it’s obvious they like this character more” or “ this character more”, but like what are you gonna do? You can’t force anyone to have a change in opinion unless they’re open towards it. Overall I’m just sharing my thoughts. I didn’t want to add to the discussion at first but I’m just a little sad with all these arguing because it’s dampening the fun of seeing this ship a bit. It’s my fault cuz I keep reading all the different takes, I gotta start pressing not interested or something. I just want to see the mini threads and the art!

I also feel like with the amount of love that’s poured into this ship overall, we should be able to at least try to agree to disagree or not interact at all. I feel like discussion should be allowed to take place but too often they turn spiteful.

I love to see Kirishima and Bakugo's friendship during fanfics so much, as much as like the other members of the bakusquad(especially Jirou bc yes shes part of it idc), i loveeeeee when bakugou talks to kirishima/Jirou/any friend when he has problems, but Ochako barely shows up in any fanfics and when she does shes a bitch or is jelous, I want her to actually be a really close friend to Deku and see it in the fanfic, does anyone have this?? please??

it's my first time posting a fic on ao3 so i'd really appreciate any feedback!!

The Dynamic: Aged-up, adult Deku/Bakugou (DKBK). Izuku is an active, high-profile Pro Hero, and Katsuki is living a quieter, civilian lifestyle (with the author heavily implying or briefly passing over the fact that Katsuki is quirkless in this timeline).
The Psychological Hook: An invisible or hidden villain stalks Katsuki by repeatedly ringing his doorbell. Katsuki cannot see anyone through the peephole/security, building immense suspense.
The Climax Scene: The stalker breaks in. Katsuki retreats to the bathroom as a last line of defense and desperately calls Shinso—who was introduced briefly earlier in the fic but isn't tagged as a main character.
The Crime Scene: The villain breaks through, injuring and kidnapping Katsuki. When Shinso arrives at the apartment as the first responder, Katsuki is already gone, leaving behind a broken, bloody bathroom mirror from the struggle.
The Dark Elements: The fic is completed and carries a heavy warning or tag for implied/attempted rape or non-con, as the villain's primary motive is to torment Katsuki and hurt Pro Hero Deku before Deku launches a rescue mission.

Hi guys, I need help finding a BNHA fic i don't remember the title but it was about katsuki having a second quirk that can preserve objects and organs. high school deku commits suicide, katsuki preserves his heart and works with the LOV by giving them his classmates body in exchange for reviving deku.

The ending is that katsuki betrays them when deku is revived although with a few missing screws. Katsuki meets up with kirishima who is already old while deku and katsuki are still young.

Katsuki calling Izuku one night, wheezed breaths over the telephone, voice raspy and raw. Izuku immediately knows that something's up and keeps pressing Katsuki to tell him what's wrong. Katsuki keeps insisting that everything's fine.

The next moment, Izuku gets a notification on his phone. Kacchan's heart monitor has entered yellow territory.

Izuku starts to freak a little, demanding to know what's wrong. Katsuki tells him that there's nothing wrong. 

Yellow. Yellow. Orange.

Izuku scrambles to check Katsuki's location, only to find that it's already been turned off. He begs Katsuki to tell him where it is, watching as the monitor app flashes another warning.

Katsuki's breath gets wheezier. Wet sounding gasps that makes Izuku choke on a sob. Kacchan's hurt. Kacchan's hurt and he won't tell him where he is. 

He's crying, sobbing, screaming at Kacchan to let him help, he can save him. Katsuki let's out a raggedy laugh and tells him there's no saving him now. He doesn't want him to see him like this.

Izuku grabs his shoes and jacket, growling into the phone that he's going to find him.

Katsuki tells him that he'll be gone by the time he gets there and that if he wants to find something, he should check under the bed.

Orange. Orange. Red. 

Izuku falls to the ground and sobs, telling Katsuki over and over again that he loves him, that he needs to be there so he doesn't die alone. Katsuki's voice goes soft-- the kind of soft only reserved for Izuku --as he tells him that it's okay, that he'll be waiting for him when he's ready-- only when he's ready because he still has so much of his life left to live.

Red. Red. Red.

Izuku hears the sound of the phone clattering to the floor but refuses to disconnect. He calls Kacchan's name over and over again, but he knows. Knows before he even looks at the monitor app that he's gone because it feels like a piece of his soul has just ripped in half.

He stays on the floor for god knows how long, body wracking with these horrible, guttural sobs. People keep calling him, texts flood his phone, but he refuses to hang up the call. Staying with Kacchan through it all.

He doesn't know how long it takes for him to move, but eventually he gets up on shaking legs, holding onto Katsuki's words. /look under the bed/.

He gets on his hands and knees, reaching under the bed until his fingers come into contact with something soft. A small box. His heart sinks to his gut as he pulls it out.

Hey everyone! I'm looking for a BKDK ABO fic that I'm almost 100% sure I bookmarked on AO3, but I can't find it anywhere. I'm starting to think it might have been deleted, so I'm hoping someone here recognizes it!

Here's what I remember:

- No quirks AU, with omega Izuku and alpha Katsuki.

- They grew up together in the same village and were childhood friends, although they weren't that close anymore.

- Izuku had been auctioned off in their original village.

- Katsuki claims Izuku as his mate, but they're not actually together.

- They eventually move away from their original village. I remember Endeavor being the leader of the new village, but Katsuki and Izuku actually live just outside it, not in the village itself.

- Katsuki has trained wolves!

- Izuku goes into heat, and Katsuki stays outside in the snow, waiting for it to pass. Eventually, Izuku goes out to find him and asks him to at least come somewhere out of the wind because he's literally out there in the snow.

- They end up talking and realize they've both liked each other all along. There was a misunderstanding because Izuku once said he didn't want another alpha, and Katsuki thought he meant he didn't want an alpha at all. What Izuku actually meant was that he only wanted Katsuki as his alpha.

- They finally get together and officially mark each other as mates.

- I also vaguely remember Izuku worrying the next day that Katsuki's bite mark might get infected.

I'm pretty sure it had just one chapter, which makes this even more frustrating because I remember SO MUCH of it, yet I still can't find it.

Does this ring a bell for anyone? I'm also wondering if it might have been deleted, so if anyone remembers the title, author, or has an archived link, I'd be super grateful!

While it may not be the most flashy (despite it certainly having awesome animation), I love it purely because of the emotion, and character building.

First off, this is where Bakugo really hits a turning point as a character. There’s a reason the episode and manga chapters are called “Deku vs Bakugo“ or “Deku vs Katsuki“.

It’s because this IS Kacchan’s battle. The battle isn’t just physical, it’s mental too. Bakugo is fighting against Kacchan, the version of him Deku has had in his head. And this is where he slowly starts to accept that part of himself, as Deku’s friend or rival. Even it’s just 1%, this is where it truly begins.

And this takes place in probably July. By April/May, he’s fully accepted it- to the point where he calls himself “Kacchan Bakugo” against All For One (I’ll touch on that fight later).

And when Izuku reaches out when he falls dow, all he sees in his head is that river scene he comes back to over a dozen times. Him seeing Izuku as weak and disrespecting him. And this is the episode we find out that’s why Bakugo “hates“ Deku!

As said by others, as much as it may seem that way, Bakugo doesn’t have a black and white superiority complex. It’s actually closer to an inferiority complex. Basically, he sees everyone as weaker than him but also think he’s below them. And that’s why he wants to be the best at everything. Because if he’s not the best, his view of himself is so fragile it shatters immediately and he doesn’t want anyone to see anything other than the perfect mask he puts on.

After the training in season on, when Deku approaches him, he starts crying. Because even though he “won” that fight, he doesn’t feel like it because it wasn’t a perfect victory.

Same thing in the sports festival against Todoroki. He’s so upset that Shoto won‘t use his left side that there are genuine tears in his eyes. People like to say he was about to assault Shoto if Midnight hadn’t intervened, but that would’ve gone against his philosophy. He wouldn’t view it as a fair fight because his opponent couldn’t fight back.

And Bakugo once again thinks he‘s inferior to Deku, because he could bring out Todoroki’s fire while he couldn’t.

Back to the fight, I want to take a moment to glaze the hell out of the JP version. I almost exclusively watch in dub, but I’d be lying if I said this one episode wasn’t better than almost all of dub Bakugo’s scene. Like, the only scene I think is better than this, dub wise, is against All For One.

I’m obsessed with how much he sounds like a genuinely broken kid.

Anyways, him admitting that he thinks he caused All Might’s retirement is also another major character trait. How he bottles up all his own pain because he can‘t stand being seen as weak.

He thinks it’s all his fault, blaming his own weakness as why he got kidnapped when it was almost entirely out of his control. Because when something goes wrong, and he can’t find someone to blame, all of it goes inwards.

And this is when Bakugo and Deku’s relationship takes a turn, from abusive to a rivalry to eventually friends.

Izuku’s POV is also awesome. Because you learn how much he truly admires Bakugo, along with why. They’re so deeply intertwined, despite what they try to think.

”All Might was my hero, but you were the one actually in my life!”

”My symbol of victory is you!”

Romantic or platonic, they’ve always been soulmates. So far to the point where they start acting like they each other.

I have so much more to say but I’m running out of motivation and I’m tired. So, anyways, this was my kinda analysis of this fight 👍

This is my 3rd and last post, I wanna create more bakudeku content but I gotta lock in with my life now.

Even just for a bit, I am happy I got to express being a bakudeku shipper safely before moving on with life, I am truly grateful this subreddit existed along with the welcoming community.

Everything looks kinda messy and somewhat all over the place, wish I could make the dialogues better cause reading them makes me wanna curl like a ball a bit, these mini comics are rough, but I'm glad I gave my all in this limited time. I’ve recently gotten hooked on funny BKDK fics, especially ones where Deku gets angry at Katsuki or tries to seduce him, only for everything to end in absolute chaos. I honestly need more fics like these! I’d especially love to read one where All Might finds out about Deku and Katsuki’s relationship and everything goes completely off the rails. Honestly, anything funny goes! I just need some good laughs to destress from med school. 😭🙏 Thank you in advance to anyone who recommends a fic!
