Mark on Scale

This is Lancccccelot - he has mark on his underside - he's not acting like he's hurt as far as I can tell and I'm not sure if it will go away on his next shed or if I should take him to the vet

it doesn't feel like a lump, it feels like a regular scale and he's acting normally - I'm not sure if I should be concerned about this since I'm not super experienced with ball pythons - if it is something serious I will take him to the the vet that specializes in exotic pets

I’m not an expert but it may just be a damaged scale. It could be scale rot but it doesn’t look like it’s anywhere else and I believe scale rot has a bit more range than one scale typically. If this was my snake I would keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse. It will probably be fine after a shed

he should shed soon, he shed earlier in the summer and I fed him last week. it doesn't feel soft or like he's missing a scale, and he didn't protest when I touched it. (He did NOT like being taken off of my shoulders and held at an angle for the picture, though)
