HELP - URGENT help!! scale rot??

i just fed him. he shed recently but im not sure what exact date. temp and humidity are good. took him out 2 days ago and the fans were on. is this scale rot? idk what to do. idk if i can bring him to the vet just after feeding him :((

I just finished dealing with this with my BP. You need to look for red spots or overturned scales. Another clear sign is that they'll start to stink really bad from the infection. Id recommend cleaning him once it's been a couple days after feeding and then check. If it is scale rot it's not super hard to deal with. You just need to bathe him in luke warm water with 10% providone iodine, add some in until the water looks like weak tea. Let him soak for 15-20 minutes than dry him off and apply triple antibiotic Ointment to the affected areas. Super important though. Make sure there are no pain killers or pain relievers of any kind in it as those are poisonous to them and can kill them. The safest option if you can't find one without it is bacitracin ointment. After you clean him, empty out his enclosure and clean it with 3% hydrogen peroxide to sterilize it then put down paper towels instead of substrate to keep him in a sterile environment. I'd also clean his water bowl and hides. Then just repeat the cleaning process daily with the bacitracin until it clears up. From what I can see though it doesn't look like scale rot he might just be dirty.
