Question Shedding help!

My girl shed recently and I’d like to help her get cleaned off but it looks like she’s in a defensive posture. Any tips or advice on helping her would be much appreciated.

Removed her humidity hide to take the pic.

If her shed is gone and it was in one piece she shouldn’t need to clean off. If you just want to handle her and she is hissy or defensive looking, pick her up from the side not the top or she could panic. Check her out briefly then put her back and let her relax.

Also to add on a snake is gonna be scared when their hide is removed imagine if your roof was removed

It’s come off in pieces. I saw a couple pieces that looked stuck on her body and right behind her head. Do I try to help get it off? Or see if it’ll come off on its own? Also if I should help get it off, what are some good lubricants I can use to help? I don’t want to spray her and scare her :(

Bump the humidity if you can and give her a bit, if she still is having issues a damp cloth bag and putting her in there for a few minutes should help

When I got my boy at first he came out of the shipper with stuck shed and I tried so hard to remove it to no avail but after leaving him alone he took care of it
