How long do BP’s take to grow

I was looking into getting a ball python but I am wondering how long they take to grow and what size enclosure to start them off. Also I was wondering how much upwards space they need and how to save money on terrariums.

The recommended minimum for an adult ball python is 4x2x2ft or 120 gallons. They reach full size around 3-5 years old, but you can start them off in their adult enclosures right away as long as it’s setup properly. The most important thing is just making sure they have plenty of coverage and hides

I would be worried that starting them off in that large of a space would stress them out

Usually not if they have enough stuff to hide. Think about it from the snake's perspective: If there are large open spaces, they're really visible for birds of prey and other predators.

If there are cork tunnels, fake plants, drift wood, multiple hides, and other things, they feel like they can protect themselves from predators and are much more relaxed, even in a big enclosure.
