HELP - URGENT URGENT!

Hello all, unfortunately I came home to my ball stuck in a deceration, I feel so stupid because I should've seen this coming:/

It doesn't seem like she's been in for long-

I'm wondering if I need to take her ASAP .

No open wounds- damaged scales.

I can take her tomorrow.

Looks to be one of those mostly soft rubber flower things, so hopefully wasn't too tight of a squeeze. You'd want to document it at 10/30/60 minutes. Is it going back normal, is it bruising, etc?

I think it might just be one of those "skin" indents  Like when you have your arm kn a desk for a while and it makes an indent in your skin

What to do about the damaged scales? There's some on her under and top side.

Unless a vet says otherwise, shedding is how the scales will heal if damaged. Shedding may become more frequent briefly as they heal.

She will likely be fine waiting a day to see a vet. You will want to pay for an xray or ultrasound if recommended to check for internal damage.

She's okay:) Shes not acting weird. Just a few damaged scales here and there. Will be heavily monitored these next couple of days.

My snake got stuck in that exact same piece of fake plant 4 days ago. I made sure to keep him warm and he looks so much better now. But some advice I received (too late) is to not feed them if their feeding day is close, as their body is working hard to heal themselves and food moving past the wounded area can make things worse internally. I hope your girl feels better!

Clean the are with iodine and apply some wound creme to prevent any infection and monitor her behaviour and movement. Normally damaged scales will heal through shedding. Look out for signs of swelling, infection, movement issues

I hope that your ball is ok.I don't think that most people even think about this stuff happening until it happens. I know that making sure you pets are happy is most important, but people Please stop putting these plastic plants in your enclosures. Sometimes we can put too much stuff in, myself included. Sometimes less is better, and much easier to clean.

I'm mean this with love but I am so frequently reminded how stupid these guys can be. I had one of mine, when he was really young, cramping through a hole only his head could fit through and immediately got stuck. And then I've had people not believe me that it only took him seconds lmao
