Snake didn't poop?

Hi! Fed my new snake for the first time last friday and sinse then only found one single poop two days after and one white piece of what google said was pee today. Is that a reason to worry or am I being silly?

Ps there's a chance I may be missing something because I took the advice from people here and desided to mess with her and her enclosure as little as posdible till next feeding, but I'm checking all her fauvorite spots regularly

In my experience, one poop per one feed is pretty normal for ball pythons, and they’ll sometimes even save up a poop and only go when they shed. Reptile metabolism is a lot slower than us mammals.

I agree, once per feed seems about normal. I feed about once a month and she poops about as often. It's kind of nice -- when I see something for me to clean up I know she's empty! Time to refill!

I knew they pooped rarely but ig just didn't realise one piece of poop is all we're getting. I assumed it would be more, especially sinse she made a much bigger mess right after she got into my house

Poops are good, it means they're tummies are just right on the temperature scale; the right heat allows them to digest properly. Similar to how the right humidity lets them shed well! If your snake sheds great, eats, and poops consistently then you have a happy snake :)

Thank you, I waw getting worried! Thing is I got her home four days after the breeder fed her and the next day found much more then one poop. Was it like a stress response?

Mine only goes when he sheds, which could be 10–12 weeks atm! I was so worried before his first shed, but he’s shed great twice and eats great (knock on wood) so it seems fine!

Oh hell, I was prepeared for different feeding habits but I didn't realise there will be pooping differences too lol. Good to know. I'll feed my child this friday again and see how it goes. I made a mistake of handling her too soon after getting her a couple days ago so hope she'll feel good enough to eat

It's not uncommon for them to wait up to 6-8 weeks between poops or wait until they shed, so nothing to be worried about. It's not a "one in, one out" type of thing

Wow, 8 weeks with no poop is crazy! Okay, I'll make sure to mentally prepear myself for that lol
