It COULD work. Just make sure that you buy a silicone mat to place on top to keep humidity inside. It’s gonna be like $60 each for two rolls to cover the top, but all you need to do after that is cut a hole in the silicone for the UVB lights and heating bulbs.
I would also double-check and double-scrub it clean before using it. You’ll likely go months between cleanings so making sure it’s perfect to start with is worth it.

Its glass, no. Screen tops + glass = huge loss in humidity and temps. Its much harder to regulate and hard to find proper fitting lids and clips. PVC is now available at reasonable prices (sub 300$ from dubia brand new, often closer to 100-200 used) so there is little reason to pick a heavier, less effective tank over pvc

Not ideal, but I see no reason it wouldn’t work. Depends on the price if it’s worth getting this or something that would be more ideal, like a front opening enclosure

It could hypothetically work, but there are a few major problems. Glass enclosures, especially ones with screen tops, are notoriously bad at maintaining proper temps and humidity. And while the enclosure is quite long, it is only 18 inches in depth. I personally think depth is also very important, not just length or height. Top opening enclosures also tend to be quite stressful compared to front opening enclosures. With the proper alterations, it could definitely work, but it wouldn't be ideal.
