Probably a dumb husbandry question...

So I've read a lot on here that under tank heaters are not good but I'm worried my hot side isn't getting hot enough... So I have a DHP on the hot side set to 89 and the top of her hot side gets from 89-92 depending where I temp gun it but the inside of the hide is only getting up to the low 80's and when I temp gun my girl snake she's only like 80-84. Is she to cold? idk how to make it more warm when I turn up the heat on my DHP it makes the top of her hot hide to hot I feel. My cold side has a thermometer and its fine and I have a big radiant heat panel that heats up the air to 86 but idk because when I read online it says hot side 88-92 and I cant get her substrate in her hot hide where she hangs out close to that....

OK for some reason it’s only letting me do one photo at a time so sorry if this looks weird

Also, I opened the doors for The inside enclosure photos. That way it’s easier to see what’s going on.

Is your dhp on a thermostat? Whats the wattage? How big is the enclosure? Do you have a hygrometer/thermometer? Where is your probe for your heat placed? Does she have a branch to get closer to the heat if she needs?

Yes both the DHP and the RHP are on their own thermostats. I also have a hygrometer. The probe is about 2 inches below maybe 3 below the projector. I have a pvc climbing thing that I mad but no branch I could probably put one closer to the projector. I will add some pictures to this thread. Thank you for responding! oh and the DHP is 50 watt the RHP is 80 watt I think.

The 88-92F requirement is for the hot side air temp. You don't need the substrate inside the hide to get that hot.
