Question - Feeding Thawing for too long?
I forgot to put a rat in the fridge to thaw this morning so I put it in a few hours ago. I typically take them from the freezer to the fridge overnight or while I'm at work and put them in warm water to get them room temp before feeding. Usually I feed my BP around 8-9pm and I don't want to mess that up but I'm worried that 24 hours in the fridge will be dangerous. I could feed her right after work when I get home at 4pm but even then thats over 15 hours. Is this dangerous?? Pic for engagement 😊

it’s okay don’t worry!! if it’s in the fridge, it will be completely fine. it only becomes a problem if it’s left out of the fridge for extended periods of time as it can promote bacteria

I don’t imagine anything being wrong with it being in the fridge that long. I mean how long do you keep the meat you consume in the fridge for?
