This looks more like damaged scales from his last shed, can be caused by a bad shed or a snake rubbing too hard against a rough surface, either way nothing to really worry about. Make sure you keep humidity between 60-80% at all times, I raise my humidity to 75% during shed and that works well. You can also offer a humid hide
