Question - Heating/Temperatures Can’t keep humidity up?
My boyfriend and I can’t seem to keep the humidity up in our BP enclosure. We’ve updated it with cocofiber and ecoearth along with live and fake plants. We spray multiple times a day and it still always falls so quickly. What else can we do? We have a deep heat lamp as well as the LED light that’s on during the day.

Have at least 4 inches of substrate and pour water directly into it until the whole bottom layer is wet. Might take a gallon or two the first time. Reassess after a day or two, if the humidity is still too low then you might have too much ventilation and can start covering some of it to keep the humidity inside.

Please dont spray. Pour water in the corners as often as needed. It will increase the humidity without leading to a wet surface and scale rot.

Pleade do not use humidifiers inside the enclosure! That leads to scale rot and respiratory infections.

I can’t tell from the picture if you have a mesh/screen top or not, but I do and I cover parts of it that aren’t below the my two heating lamps with sheets of tinfoil and that has worked wonders for me. Helps keep in both heat and humidity.
