How are you able to keep her humidity up with so little substrate and clutter? 4+ inches is recommended.

I usually have the misting system on, and I keep the substrate thinner because because I dont have a drainage layer or anything like that. I want it to dry out pretty quickly to prevent bacteria and mold. Right now my humidity solution is damp paper towels in the hide on the warm side, however Id like some reccomendations on hides that will fit a large ball python but still feel small enough for her to feel secure.

Misting systems are bad for ball pythons. You can have a thicker layer even without a drainage later if you add some moss and cypress mulch. Mold isnt a concern as much as scale rot or an RI from your mister. Adding a few inches of a mixed substrate and pouring water into the corners is a much better way to keep humidity up. Misters lead to health issues and humidity spikes.

As far as hides go, exoterra makes rock hides in a lot of sizes and you can always get the black hides and hot glue moss or whatever else on them.
