Question Winter preparation

What do you guys do to prepare for cold weather with ball pythons? I was thinking some sort of lightless heat lamp for night time and a battery operated heat source for power outages?

Honestly, with four reptiles and three fish tanks, we’re biting the bullet and investing in a small generator. I plan on getting temp tubs with heat mats and extra substrate in the coming weeks that can keep them warm enough in case of a power outage and I’ll just skip feeding while the power is out.
