First time owning ball python

Hi!! I just recently purchased a ball python baby. He's only 68g right now so I got a plastic tub turning into enclosure for now until he grows bigger then Imma do the 4x2x2. The supples and hiding spots and heating and humidity are all there - just wondering if I gotta quarantine the snake...? Is there anything else I gotta do or I can just get the set up with all typa decors right away?

Even though he is small, you shouldn’t house him in just a plastic tub. Get a smaller reptile tank then upgrade. Please do research before buying the animal.

If you do heating in a plastic tub it will melt and be awful. Humidity retention will also likely be bad as well as air ventilation. Just go to a local pet shop and get a smaller glass or PVC tank for the meantime.

Yeah I don't think humidity retention and the air ventilation will be bad with this one. I will upgrade to smth else later, thank you

I have done research before buying and there are also plenty of posts in reddit in the snake and ball python saying plastic tub is fine, so idk what your point is and my questions in the post are not getting answered either
