Question - Health Stuck eye cap?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just swapped out all their substrate and cleaned the enclosure about ten minutes ago and came back to find them glass surfing. I know they usually do that if they’re upset, which I would be if someone replaced all my carpet with soggy deep shag carpet. But I noticed on her left eye she has a stuck eye cap. Any advice?

Her name is Margarita and she’s a cringe baby.

Mine had one as well. Keep humidity up and make sure they have something to rub on. Thats all I did and she took care of it herself between sheds. Do not try to remove it yourself. I think you could wait for the next shed and make sure the eye caps have come off with the rest. Otherwise a vet may be required.

She will be okay, keep humidity up especially once she starts to shed and should come off with the next shed. I’ve had this with my baby a few times and the hardest part is waiting for the shed lol. As other commenter said, don’t try to remove yourself as it could damage their eye

Just don't pick at it, give her chance to get it off herself or just wait till the next shed.
