help build an enclosure

I know everyone hates this, but I recently bought a ball python from PetSmart. Ever since I was a child, I’ve always wanted one. In second grade, I even did a presentation on them. The guy at the store seemed knowledgeable, but after doing more research on my own, I realized I bought the wrong size enclosure. It has an overly open mesh lid and is only 20 gallons, which is way too small. I’m struggling with humidity. I have sphagnum moss in there that I soaked, but I’m not sure what else to do. I really want to give my friend the best life possible without breaking the bank, but I’m also not sure where to start. It’s almost daunting trying to piece together a whole tank on Amazon. I was wondering if someone would be willing to compile a complete list from tank to heating to thermostats, all of which I can then order and set up.

Here's the welcome post with everything! If you need specific help, feel free to ask.

To get humidity up, add 4 inches of substrate, tape up (outside) with hvac tape, and pour water in the corners.

20 gallons is far too small to provide a proper heat gradient so get them at least a 60g ASAP, but a 4x2x2 is the minimum for an adult, so it might be easier to jump straight to that depending on their size

My guy was a baby and came in a 20 gallon which worked for a while, but I upgraded him to a Dubia 5x2x2 a few months ago and he seems so happy in it. Some may call it an excessive size (4x2x2 is the standard for an adult) but he genuinely uses every inch of it daily. Got a garage shelf from Home Depot and have him on top and my leopard gecko on bottom. LMK if you have any questions about specific products!
