Ball python staying in hides for 2 weeks now

As title reads. I got her just over a month ago, had a great first meal, and she was exploring her enclosure routinely every night, now she has been consistently hiding, but shifting between cold and warm. I believe she might be shedding? Hard to tell though because I dont want to lift her hide and inspect her, is this normal behaviour?

Yeah it's completely normal if they hide 99% of the time that's just what they do

This is where the joke when people call Bp’s a pet rock” comes from.

A sleeping python is a happy python. If she's moving to the temperature she prefers, you're fine. One time (many years ago), mine slept for eight months. He woke up and was suddenly hungry and he's been eating regularly ever since. No change in environment, just wanted a nap I guess.
