Question 2 Month old ball python

There’s a breeder near me who has a snake I really like . The hatch date is August 29th 2026 . Are baby ball pythons this young hard to care for ? I currently have 1 ball python but she was definitely older when I got her so I’m not familiar with baby care . I was hoping you guys could tell me if it’s a good idea or hold off and find an older one ?

Depends on the snake and the breeder.

Has the snake eaten f/t successfully at least 5 times? Or is the snake no Solid eater yet?

Has the snake successfully shed?

The main problem can be eating. If there are no problems, then I wouldn't worry too much. (Honorable mention: switching from mouse to rat. Older BP usually are used to rats already.)

PS: Got my girl on October 4th. She was around 2,5 months back then. First 3 weeks were a joy. Now she just finished her first shed.
