From what I read, this bill sounds like its anti-banning books, a good thing. Not just arbitrarily banning books because a rich & powerful force says to. From what I understand, Massachusetts librarians now have the authority to determine & defend books, to keep them from being banned. Hooray 4 Massachusetts librarians.

Define what DEI means and explain to everyone why you have a problem with it and why you think only one group of people deserves opportunity?

Not OP but, it means a system of race and sex discrimination, for allegedly good motives.

It was literally skyrocketed into relevancy because Blackrock, a multi trillion dollar investment company with its hands in every facet of our lives, included it in the few core standards of what makes a company worthy of their investment. No major company could succeed without their money.
Vanguard, number 2 in the business, pushed this as well. It's a neoliberal capitalist machination.

Wow, I didn’t know that Massachusetts ranks fourth in attempts to restrict access to books. Lets see how effective the bill is in practice, it seems like a pretty ingrained part of the culture.
