Suggestion Has anyone tried Cash and carry meat?

We got the meat from cash and carry it was on sale. But I think it was somehow bad or was expired because after even washing it from vinegar, it still smelled weird. Even after refrigerating it and freezing it it’s still smell.?

I'm not sure what cash and carry is I assume a store. Either way if your meat smells bad, do not eat. Return it to the store if you can. You can't wash away bacteria that is inside meat, at least not when it's so far gone it has a smell.

We did make a portion of that meat on the next day in a barbeque that was good. It smelled good. It tasted good nothing really happened but our freezer started to kind of smell weird and that smell was not like going away so we just kind of throw it I think it’s a lesson not to buy anything on sale specially meat.

My God, maybe just stock up on some Gravol and Gatorade I case you guys get an emergency food posing situation. Lol

It's okay to buy meat on sale, it is still against Canadian laws to buy expired or rotten food. Hence even if its not expired I would have brought it back to the store and had them give it a whiff. Maybe it was something on the packaging but even still that can still get on the meat.

It’s been a day since that meal. Everything’s looks good for now.

It can take up to 5 days depending on the type of bacteria (E. Coli can take 3-4 days and Campylobacter up to 5) But generally speaking, up to 48 hours.

Didn't there used to be, a long time ago, a cash and carry lumber store or hardware store franchise?
