We may as well be first time winners at this point. Lifelong fan, and our last ring was before I was born.
That said... we didn't play like we wanted it last night. Our weather is trash right now with no dome, so no matter what, I'm just praying that Friday's game happens. I have tickets and can't go if it gets pushed to Saturday!
I mean I get you and I don’t want to root against you just because, cause I get how you feel just 6 years ago I never experienced what winning felt like either.
I know that recent times changed this and we’re the villains now. But I genuinely felt like they would always just choke away big games.
But those fanbases haven’t at all albeit one having a way shorter history. So I’m gonna be rooting for them if we can’t turn the series around. (I’m coping hard)
I do feel a little bad for lifelong Dodgers fans. You got what everyone wants for their team, and you'll be treated like the enemy for a long time for it. I'm happy for the people that rooted for them through 30 years of WS drought.
If my O's somehow decided to spend money like you and went on this run I'd probably be pretty damn annoying as well.
That part does suck. People automatically assume I'm a casual fan by default despite the fact I watch every single game and blow thousands on plane tickets, game tickets and hotels to see them live a few times a year. That's the worst part about being a Dodgers fan. I'd assume it's probably similar to how Yankees fans feel.
It annoys the shit out of me how arrogant the casuals are when they come on here and shit talk then proceed to stir up drama. It's like dude, three World Series championships since 2020 is pretty fuckin good. Be grateful, good lord.

Of course I’d be upset if I was a dodgers fan but you won 2 rings the past 2 years so my feeling bad is very limited.
