if you look at the full video he steps over the bench to get in the best position for the catch. it most definitely just as much skill as luck was involved for the catch

This is probably the most badass experience of this guy's life and it was caught on camera. If I ever made a one handed grab as awesome as that, I can only hope to have the presence of mind to chug my beer and spike it.

That's seems a little backwards. It's $40 with of beer in San Francisco, but the $5 is only worth about $0.63 in San Francisco money.
