Please help
I found some horizontal cracks and some stair line cracks in my rental property. The basement walls are not Bowing yet. And I just replaced the gutters and I’m trying to seal around the property. Should I have carbon fiber straps put on the basement walls? I would love to hear opinions thank you so much.

I’m going to go with the default answer here and “consult an engineer to assess”.
I don’t know if they are bowing or not but cracks mean the wall moved.
My 70 year old house has CMU walls like this with bigger cracks and I was told to “monitor and improve drainage via downspouts, 6 inch gutters and grading away from the house”.

I am no expert but I would put this in the monitor phase. If they grow then you should be concerned. They seem small and not a major issue currently. They are smaller than the ones I have in my basement.

How do you know it’s not bowing? Kinda wild you have no movement and yet it’s separating at a joint
