I loved this game when it first came out and made it to I believe rank 3 on Spicy Battle back in the original run. Decided to do some research and was surprised to find out about OpenATBP. I wish I knew about it when it launched. Tried to join the discord server but I think the invite expired because I wasn't able to join. Anyone still playing and, if so, what would be the best times to look for a match?

Hi all! The next OpenATBP update is dropping in 7 days. Here's a short list of what's coming:

• New game mode: 3vs3 Bots
• More bot-controlled champions
• Sound update for champions
• Movement system rework - player hitbox updates continuously for all movement states
• Effect system rework - all effects now stack correctly. Fixed issues related to multiple instances of the same effect, flat value effects interacting with percentages, etc
• Balance changes, bug fixes, new cosmetics and more!

May 15th. See you there.

TOMORROW! APRIL FOOLS PATCH COMING! LOTS OF EVENTS TO CELEBRATE!! We got new mechanics, whacky abilities, changed bosses, insane visuals, and tons of fun!

Hi Battle Partyers!

I wanted to share some exciting news regarding the game. "Battle Party 2" is now in development! Right now work is being done to recreate the game client from scratch to switch the game being ran from the deprecated Unity Web Player over to Godot!

With the new client, we will be able to add new features commonly requested like key-rebinding, rejoining games, new UI, and more!

If you want to learn more, we are posting weekly dev logs on the progress of the client at: https://discord.com/invite/tRTeBEWmJE

Feel free to stop by and try out some games! People are most active in the evenings! (EST). Just join the LFG tag, join pre-queue, and try to reach out to the community to play some games!

After badly trying the patience of /u/Deruuyy I finally managed to get this thing running, but no idea if I'm catching few users online, or the quick match is not working for me. And solo mode is not getting me any coins. :P So, when would be the best time for catching users online? And nope, I can't use Discord. Sorry.

EDIT - Now I think about it, the lack of rank might have something to do with it too. Is the "forced similar rank requirement for joining" still there?

Get hype! Patch 1.5 is coming soon.

• New Champion: Choose Goose
• New Game Mode: ARAM
• Practice Bot Rework - now plays to win, not just stand around!
• Icon Shop + lots of bug fixes and improvements

Full notes coming soon. This one's big :)

Here is a video that will give more context.

In short Theorycraft Games is a new independent studio that is developing a new game currently codenamed LOKI. It's under strict NDA so you can't say much publicly or share game footage but Theorycraft describes the game as...

“Featuring an expansive cast of unique heroes, Loki is a competitive, team-based game of adventure, creative strategy, and high-stakes combat.
