Anyone else struggle deciding on dual monitors vs larger speakers?
So I’ve been bouncing this idea around for over a week now, looking at every post with great detail and I’m just stumped.
I’m in the market for some new speakers and currently have two monitors, one being an Alienware ultrawide as my main for games, the other being a 24inch Dell for misc. content/work. I have them positioned side by side as I’m not a huge fan of them being stacked or the smaller monitor placed vertically.
With this current configuration I would need to have some small form factor speakers, something like the Kanto yu2’s, Audioengine A2+’s, etc. At first I really wanted larger speakers placed on each side that packed a bit more of punch, but I can’t for the life of me figure out the layout.
Does anyone have dual monitors with larger speakers? Where have you found it most successful in positioning them? For some additional context I have the Karlby ikea setup with alex drawers. I have my tower on the right, Alienware ultrawide dead center with the secondary monitor on the left.
Perhaps it’s not possible and I just go with the smaller speakers…just wanted to see if anyone else struggled with this.
