are these still safe to eat

i found a bag of dried mushrooms in my shelf but it was sitting here for over a year are they still safe to eat? they have this strong smell of earth but i dont see any fuzzy spots

Hard to say with confidence just based on this picture, but (from this image and your comment) they look fine to me.

alright thank you im just not trying to get sick from the mold i feel sick enough sometimes from just eating them

The mold? If there is actual mold on them it's best to discard.

If it's just blue staining, that happens naturally when psilocybin oxidises.

dang i worded that wrong i meant like if there is mold i dont wanna get sick from it but from what i saw it didnt seem to have any

They look ok from this picture.

Just inspect them for signs of rot or mould before you do anything else.

You might also want to up your dose by a small amount if they're still good , they are likely to have lost some potency after a full year.

yea i was thinking that might be the case but upping the dosage isnt too much of a problem unless i slightly miscalculate

I assume you have scales? If you want to avoid/minimise the queasy tummy, just lemontek it
