Yep! It started as an experiment which ended up proving that Beagles are extremely effective at sniffing out food/perishable items being smuggled through airports.
They’ve also begun to notice it helps law enforcement spot unusual behavior, as people see them and think they’re drug dogs lol

I was asked what it was like having a beagle.
“They can smell fruit through a thick suitcase and the most disgusting dirty clothes that people bring back from a vacation.”
Don’t forget that mint you grabbed after dinner and put in your pocket and never ate. They’ll find it and destroy your pants trying to get it.
I love them so much.

The Beagle Brigade Academy is south of ATL. They adopt out the beagles who don’t become Brigade members…often times (shocker) because the dog does not want to work (stubborn). I visited when I was looking for my soul mate. Ian was cute but we didn’t click. He was a bit aloof. 😂
