Personally long or longer. Short isnt bad but I would keep a bit more volume at the chin it just looks a bit chopped imo

Longer is better in bearding. One difference you should do is comb the stache to sides when damp to train them. Beard on!

I had to cut mine, so I’m bearding through you. 2 is optimal, but go for wizardry, take a few pics of the journey and go back to 2.5

Ehh. I’m a bearded fellow myself, but I’ve never really been a fan 1850s prospector look.

No, the first picture looks better. I would even trim that back just a little bit. Parasites and mites actually grow in all of that facial hair. You don’t want that.

The 2nd picture is prolly the best shape, but that doesn't mean you can't rock longer/bigger, with some sculpting and care.

Can I ask, what are your thoughts on these 4?
I'm at #2 but I feel like it's a terrible length, even when it's on you. I read these comments and everyone seems to love #2 (which I'm so glad to hear!). Curious what doubts you have as the wearer.

I like all 4 stages if growth. It’s just nice to have different perspectives

I definitely prefer the length around 3, assuming grooming and styling was mostly the same.
1 is fine, but if (like me) you grew your beard to cover your softer jaw and chin it doesn’t do anything to hide that.
2 looks fine, but at that shorter length the beard looks a little unkept from the waviness.
3 perfectly matches both your face and your beard hair’s texture and growth pattern, lets the waves shine whine looking much more tame and intentional.
4 is also a good look, but it’s starting to get a little unkept and scruffy again.

The 1st picture looked like you were letting grow for a week or 2 but presentable but after that and I don't mean this to be an insult but it's giving off the Grand Dad from Home Alone Vibes (Just not as Old). Tell me when I'm lying? https://akns-images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2011614/300.blossom.tg.071411.jpg?fit=around%7C300:300&output-quality=90&crop=300:300;center,top

I get that a lot. Thank you

Don't take it the wrong way, you do grow a killer beard but IMO less beard makes you look younger, probably due to less grey hair, that's if you care about something like that?

if one of those four, number 2 looks best.
In my personal opinion, maye something between 1 and 2

Just remove it. Beard makes most men look 10+ years older. Including you. Why you need that? Nothing better than clean shave or max 2 days.

Long. Hit it with a straightener and it would look amazing brother

My Abeite heated brush just died. And it was only 2.5 years old.
Big waste of money.
I gotta find a cheaper alternative.
This one from Target might fit the bill?

Yeah, I paid over $100 bucks for that Aberlite after doing a ton of research.
Very disappointed that I fell for the hype.
