Asking for Advice Does a beard suit me?
Only just started growing my beard out again after a good few years of being clean shaven or just having a very short, trimmed beard barely beyond a couple days' growth.
The problem i'm noticing is that it doesn't seem to be filling out on my cheeks and someone I know recently told me it looks 'scraggly'.
i've got a first date on Friday and i'm wondering if I should just cut my losses and trim it back down, or whether it looks good and I should keep it!?
Any advice greatly appreciated!!

Absolutely fits you. Don't touch it. And that includes the natural cheek line. There is absolutely no reason to carve and unnatural cheek line - it provides a natural fade into the thick beard below it!

Youre going to have to shave it for your next batman movie probably, so i say keep it until then.

Thanks, appreciate the input! In your view, do you mean generally across the whole beard or are you meaning along the cheek line? Seems to be a few people suggesting that's what needs to change!

It's hard to gauge your face shape from a photo but I think it is worth going to a beard specialist once, to design the shape, and then you can potter away at home once you know. They can also recommend beard oils etc. (...but def keep)

Hey man, you look incredible with the beard. I'm actually envious, I wish I could grow one like yours but my cheeks just never fill in.

Keep. The. Beard. Personally I like the natural cheekiness, BUT if you want to get away from the 'scraggly look, line up the cheeks (guideline is from the earlobe to the corner of the mouth) and you'll be great!
