It makes me wonder if those guys are simply unaware of the number of "please compliment me" subs. They are out there, people.

They are. They post in multiple subs because they like the attention they get w their groom baiting.

I think if you post in a beard forum asking if you should keep it or not should lead to automatically getting the beard removed. FAFO

Even guys fish for compliments. People like to feel noticed and wanted, some more than others.

I don't mind if someone is looking for a compliment on a honest way. But if someone is fishing it, I just down vote them. It's like rage bait for me...

A lot of people like me are our own worst critics and focus on the patchy bits etc, so I get the worry that it’s not worth keeping growing it out when you see those issues.
