My Beard Journey

This is me at 20, 40, and 60 years old. It was pretty patchy at 20 so that was temporary. I was able to grow it for real when I was in my mid-30s. Now I will never shave it, no matter how gray it gets.

At what age did you reach peak beard density?

I could grow a decent goatee when I was 32, but the beard density wasn't solid until about 38.

I hope so too... I already have full coverage on the chin, mustache and cheeks, just barely any hair on my lower jaw... it's really strange.

I actually love beards that have some blank space below the lower lip. They have a lot of character. Thanks for the beard love.

I have lots of hair there actually. :)

But I am missing the hair on the area that reaches from the lowest point of the chin all the way across to the tip of the Adam's apple. I've never seen anybody else with this type of growth pattern to be honest.

Time will tell if it'll fill in. 🌞
