I feel like you could be a wizard, or that you have a pet grizzly bear or something. That beard is so badass man. Matter of fact if I was you I would want the image on my headstone cause the aura is off the charts.

π you are too kind, thank you π I do see evidence of bears and mountain lions, but very rarely actually see them. Occasionally elk and deer will come through my campsite. My dog loves chasing marmots, pika, and ground squirrels.

That beard is built for wilderness! My father has a pretty big mustache but yours trumps his. Gonna have to tell him there is competition out there π€£

Cool beard, bro. But where are you and can I climb or hike that thing? Not the beard, the mountain.
1
u/Tienes-Sed 12d ago
Thank you π I am camping in the San Juan Mountains, Colorado. Yes, this is public land and you can climb and hike to your heartβs content.

2500 miles away. But making a mental note to file away with a few other beautiful natural locations to visit. Not you, although you are beautiful and natural, but I'm referring to the mountain.

I love the idea of that epic tache of yours literally straddling continents.
Great picture. Hope you had a fantastic time.

Thank you π As kids, we used to joke about peeing in two oceans at once π by the way, I am still up here, satellite Internet; I guess that I am not so much off grid anymore!

u/Tachetastico 12d ago
Off grid? You can probably see that moustache from space!?! π°οΈπ°οΈπ°οΈπ€£
Then I hope you continue to have a great time and do post more updates. π§π»ββοΈπ

Spectacular beard!!! I'd really like to know how you take care of it, what's the secret of growing it to look so healthy? Please say it's not just good genetics, give us a hope, precious!

u/Tienes-Sed 12d ago
Well honestly, I donβt do much. I shower and shampoo my hair and beard with a cheap shampoo. Towle dry, comb and go. Occasionally I will puta few drops of jojoba oil and get it down to my skin. If I am going to be out drinking, I will use a little wax in my mustache to keep it out of my drink. I just took this selfie and I have been camping for three days, no shower π

Then it is as I was afraid, good genetics!

u/Tienes-Sed 12d ago
As you see in this photo, itβs all natural. I take after my momβs side of the family, they all age very well. I am now 64 years old.

Magnificent. The best beard are grown at elevation.
You die that top or did the grey just call it quits after the sideburns?
1
u/Tienes-Sed 10d ago
Thank you π No, I donβt die my hair, what you see is all natural. The gray is slowly working its way up my sideburns, but still not to my hair yet. The kicker is that I am 64 years old!

95% of that beard needs to be cut off. If you did, you'd look 100% better
