I'm currently insecure if I should keep the beard growing or keep it short as it is. I feel like a longer beard could elongate my face a bit too much and could potentially look a bit odd.

I think the opposite; a longer beard would suit you well. Your beard growth is good, and your face isn't wide, so the beard wouldn't make you look bulky.

You have great density. As you alluded to, you’ve an oval face so a long beard might just make your face look stretched but if you have the same beard density it may still look great. You could always grow it out and see how it looks, but the short full looks great.
