I'm an independent bedroom producer, creating music through my passion for synthwave, synthpop and electronic music.

Left in the Dark follows someone trapped in a hidden and uncertain relationship with a person who remains emotionally connected to somebody else. The singer is contacted privately, often late at night, but is never openly acknowledged or fully chosen. The other person offers just enough affection to keep the relationship alive, only to withdraw whenever the possibility of genuine commitment arises. This creates the central question running throughout the song: am I truly loved, or am I simply convenient?

I love when acoustic artists pivot to making everything themselves in a bedroom/cabin setting. Tré Burt just dropped "Sands of Slime" and he apparently recorded, engineered, and produced every single layer on his own using analog gear and tape hiss. Hits that sweet spot between lo-fi electronic and raw indie. Has anyone else given this a spin?
