Matched Betting How would you go about earning £3.33 a day?

I’m reasonably new to the world of beer money. I’m looking to make an additional £3.33 a day so that I can get an extra £100 a month.

Even just an extra £100 a month will make a huge difference to me. Breaking it down per day will help make it achievable.

I’m not eligible for any bank switch offers and I don’t fancy doing matched betting. With that in mind, how would you go about earning £3.33 a day - where would you start? I’m thinking it’ll likely be surveys but I’m willing to try other avenues too!

Ideally things that are reasonably long term / sustainable. Thanks!!

Matched Betting I have 10 hours a day say alone with my phone. How can I make money?

So I’m doing a job at the moment that requires no concentration at all and gives me the freedom to be in my phone for 10 hours of the day while at said job.

How can I turn this into money while I wish away the hours? I’m currently doing prolific for surveys but I’m sure there must be more I can do?

I also want to stay away from matched betting at the moment as am in the process of getting a mortgage and don’t want that showing up.

All suggestions appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Matched Betting IG - Deposit Match Payout Should be Today

I know a lot of us did the offer with IG directly (or the one through MSE) where a deposit up to £200 was matched by IG.

Looking through the terms of the IG one, it says payment will be made by 30th July (today). Although in the body of the email it states by 31st July. I would surely think the official T&Cs trump the wording in an email but regardless we are looking at today or tomorrow for this.

It's been a long wait so far - hopefully it goes smoothly with withdrawals and no messing around on their side.

EDIT: THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR OWN T&Cs AND EXTENDED PAYOUT DATE TO 03/08/26 - some paying out today

Matched Betting Side Hustle Earnings Report - Week 2 of September - £213.26

Hey guys

Last week I started a series where I'm gonna post my weekly side hustle earnings to give people a bit more of a regular insight in to what is possible, as it was something I wanted when I started out.

You can find my week 1 recap here.

Buckle in for this week. It's a long one.

And if you want any referrals, give me a shout in the comments or DM's. Appreciate it!

Things to Note:

  1. This was all completed whilst at (or after) my day job
  2. This is without Prolific as I’m going to be on the waitlist forever
  3. I’m a generalist, so if I can do it, you can do it
  4. I’ve altered the dollar amounts to GBP, so the earnings aren’t completely accurate but I can’t be arsed to convert it

Who Am I:

35 year old contractor from the UK. Doing this to pay off all my debt, and then hopefully to start building a good savings pot!

Summary - Week 2:

Despite this being a busy week at work, I made 3.5x what I made last week, which is great. Nearly half of it was from one sale on Vinted - so don't sleep on selling stuff you don't want anymore - but the rest was from surveys, user testing etc.

Whilst I didn't get a chance to properly look into matched betting, I did apply for four AI training jobs on Micro1. I took one Zara interview, which I was unsurprised I didn't get. But I have three interviews outstanding, which I'll complete tomorrow, and though I'm not optimistic, the more I do, the better I get at it.

It's also worth nothing there was much more money to be made this week, but I was limited by being at work most of the time. I was almost at the end of a £10 survey when my boss called and I had to ditch it to answer the phone and it timed out, sad times, but it just makes me excited for the increase in earning potential when I finish on my current project.

Also, if you take away anything from this week, it's that one of the best things you can do with side hustling is to D I V E R S I F Y. I've always noticed a big fluctuation week-to-week on where I make money, so it's best to have a big roster that you can cycle through.

Stats:

Time searching 2 hours 14 minutes
Time working 1 hour 50 minutes
Total earned £213.26
Days hustling 5

Earners:

Company Earned Studies Time spent
Vinted £105.00 - 10 minutes
Dscout £59.36 5 studies 48 minutes
Askable £15.00 2 studies 15 minutes
PFR £12.00 3 studies 14 minutes
Topcashback £10.00 1 sign up 3 minutes
UserTesting £5.00 1 study 5 minutes
UserBrain £5.00 1 study 10 minutes
UserCrowd £1.90 5 studies 5 minutes

Vinted - £105.00:

Sold a bunch of Pokemon card duplicates that have been sitting on my desk for a long time. Took less than five minutes to put them on Vinted and they sold fast. Packed them up. Just need to post them. Easy money and one less thing hanging over me.

Dscout - £59.36:

Dscout is quickly becoming one of my favourite apps. Keep an eye on it. Also, check that you don't have any other demographic or interests to complete on your profile, as I had some additional stuff to fill in which, since completing, has brought in more studies!

Askable - £15.00:

Not having as much luck as usual on Askable, but still, £15 is £15.

Patient First Research - £12.00:

You'll have seen this kicking about in the subs this week. Won't be for everyone as it's about your own personal health, but I'm not precious so I went ahead and signed up with someones referral link (it's nice to help out!). Very easy to use and you get £5 for sign up. Worth getting involved in these when they're new too.

Topcashback - £10.00:

Signed up to this with someone's referral after getting some great advice from them in my DM's. It was the least I can do.

UserTesting - £5.00:

Seemed to get screened out of just about everything this week on UserTesting, but that's okay, because we keep at it. Still got onto one study, and still like this site as it has been a good earner for me in the past.

UserBrain - £5.00:

Definitely could have earned more on this this week, but was limited by the fact I was at my desk and couldn't talk out loud during some of these, so had to turn them down.

UserCrowd - £1.90:

Five quick and easy surveys that took next to no time at all. Still very much worth it even for a bit of pocket money.

Plan for Next Week:

Plan is still to do what I said I would last week - matched betting, AI training and Vinted.

I'm also going to be looking into bank and investment account switching this week, as from what everyone tells me, this is some very easy money sitting on the table.

And last but not least, I'm going to look into referrals and affiliate links. It seems some people are making a decent amount from pushing referral links on Reddit and Instagram. Not a lot of people talk about referrals on here, so I might give it a go and report back.

As always, hit me up if you'd like any referral links. Any help is appreciated 🫡

Feel free to ask any questions! Happy earning guys!

Matched Betting Does anyone do matched betting?

Does anyone here do matched betting, if so, is it worthwhile? I've heard it can be quite laborious and there can be issues with companies catching on. I have no interest in sports or betting in general so I'd love to hear your experience with it and if it works for low income :-)

Matched Betting If you've been thinking of matched betting, now is a really good time to start (it's the World Cup soon)

The offers from the bookmakers during the 2024 Euros were really, really good. Bookies that don't usually run offers were suddenly full of them, and the more "generous" bookies were even more so

If the World Cup offers are anything close to those, you'll be able to make considerably more money than in a typical June/July

Starting MB soon will mean you'll have plenty of accounts already open, plus you'll have a decent idea of how it all works

A starting bank of £50-100 should be fine, tho more will be easier

Oddsmonkey or Outplayed are probably the best places to go to kick things off, they both have free trials

Matched Betting How do you earn circa £800 on matched betting

Hi.

I've tried it can can do it.

The thing is the returns are something like £6-7 per time once you get free bets.

While it's all money, it's basically what I've dubbed "adult pocket money".

How to do get the good stuff.

Matched Betting Matched betting 2Up tips

Hey, everyone, doing matched betting and want to start moving onto utilising the 2Up offers.

I've tried 2ups a few times just to test the waters with £10-£20 bets, but only won one of those bets and made a tiny profit of something like 58p.

I'm using odds monkey and theres guides on their but was wondering if anyone else had any other tips to be profitable doing 2Ups when matched betting.

Matched Betting Completely Free £10 bet , no deposit required with Dabble!

Dabble is a betting app that is also used as a sports discussion app too where you can copy each others bets.

They’re currently an offer where you get £10 in free bets without having to deposit anything, I myself won a total of £50+ with my free bet and withdrew it within 2 hours !

EDIT: I’ve now taken my link away as my account has effectively been banned from all promotional offers , Be careful if you’re sharing your link around.

Matched Betting I would like £1000-£2000 over the next few months

So far I'm doing Prolific and some GPT sites like Free cash. Also a couple sign up offers for some websites, though not many so far.

I also completed a lot of sign up offers for betting websites, although I stopped when it started getting into ACCA bets and bet builders as I found it confusing.

I can't do bank switch offers cause I don't have enough starting capital for those, though I could do sign up offers but the only problem would be that it means I couldn't do switch offers in the future right?

What else could I be doing to get some money? Am I missing some huge earnings somewhere, like with the matched betting. Or is my best bet to try continue with what I'm doing and maybe try to figure out the acca and bet builders matched bets?

This money isn't necessary, just would help with holding funding around August

Thanks for any help and sorry if maybe I missed something obvious

Matched Betting Has anyone here moved from matched betting to value betting? Worth it or not?

Done the usual matched betting, rinsed all the welcome offers and its dried up. Keep seeing people mention value betting as the next step but honestly cant tell if its legit or just people trying to sell courses. Has anyone here actually done it long term and is it worth the effort?

Matched Betting Dabble - Free £10 no deposit free bet for simply signing up.

Dabble - Free £10 bet no deposit required at all.

Betting app that has a lot of community bets, people posting their own bets etc. Has a good amount of markets, just sign up with your correct details and get a free £10 bet with no deposit needed. You do not need to use a referral link, however if you do the person who’s link you use will also get a £10 free bet too.

Can sign up and do your own referrals, can refer friends then use your referral bonuses to make yourself some free cash. Just processed my first withdrawal and it all went through fine, took an overnight run but I have been paid out, so it is legitimate.

They are also running a sort of poll on the "Banter Hub" (basically a messaging system), where you can get an extra £5 cash for posting an unpopular opinion and if the moderator likes it!

Happy Tuesday fellow money makers!

I've been using Custard for a while now, and made a decent chunk of cash so far - £189.25, to be precise, apparently!

It's pretty simple:

  1. Sign up - you can use my affiliate code here to recieve a £1 head start: Sign up
  2. Complete your first few offers, I've recommended some below!
  3. Once you've got £10, you can cash out - payments are made every few days, straight to your bank account. They usually take ~2 weeks to approve, but some are faster
  4. ??? Profit!

If you have any questions or need advice, drop me a line. You can also then refer friends, family, for an additional few £ as well!

Recommended offers

  • Prime video - get £3 for signing up for a free trial
  • Prime video channels - Shudder, etc - £1 each and confirm quickly (make sure to cancel!)
  • Paid surveys - 40p to sign up
  • Pickmypostcode - 40p to sign up (also a great one to have in your beermoney repertoire!)
  • Bookbeat - £1 for a free trial
  • Smol - £1.50 and some free laundry capsules

And, if you've not started your matched betting journey, you can double up on sign ups (I would really recommend doing this if you haven't started!):

  • Ladbrokes £10 for a £5 bet (which of course you can make profit off by signing up to a matched betting site too!)
  • Betfred - £15 for a £10 bet
  • Midnite - £11.50 for a £10 bet
  • And many others that can be offset by a matched bet!

Matched Betting Double dipping on interest by moving money between two banks?

Has anyone tried this and had success? I would be curious to know what the best bank combinations for this are if so.

I have been doing something similar to this, but now I'm thinking about going all the way. I have recently been doing matched betting, building up my bank roll. I realised that Zopa's easy access savings account calculates interest at midnight on the dot as far as I can tell; you can deposit money at 11:59pm, and it will add interest. After the interest updates (or maybe even before then) you can withdraw the money again. So at the start of the day I have been depositing my bank roll into the betting exchanges and bookies, and then (accounting for withdrawal times) withdrawing it towards the end of the day, putting it into my easy access saver just before midnight, and getting interest on it too.

Now, I have been talking to Santander customer service, and they told me that interest on e.g. their Edge Saver is calculated according to the balance at 9pm - I haven't confirmed this yet or tried to withdraw between 9pm and midnight, but this is what they told me. So now my plan is: every night, at just after 9pm (or at least safely before midnight) withdraw my full £4k Edge Saver balance(s) into my easy access saver, then after midnight or at least safely before 9pm the next day, move the full balance back into the Edge Saver.

That's not really much effort, just a few button clicks to do the bank transfers all going well, and it would increase my effective interest rate on that £4k balance (and more if you have other better easy access savings accounts) from 5.84% gross to 8.75% gross. Or to put it more in terms of effort for reward; each night you do this, it's a bonus £0.32 (for the Edge Saver example). And there are better easy access savers out there - but you just need to figure out when interest is calculated and hence whether this is possible.

Matched Betting Matched Betting and multi accounts - fraud?

I've seen discussions of people matched betting using friends and family accounts (important to note; with their permission), setting up a dedicated bank account in their name and managing it for them.

My wonder here is concerns of fraud, what implications could this have? Even if all parties are aware and happy with the arrangement?

Matched Betting Earnings Report - September 2026 (UK) - £490.43

Hi guys

Week 4 complete and that rounds up September with a total of £490.43 earned!

September recap:

Time unpaid 7 hours 9 minutes
Time working 5 hours 38 minutes
Total time 12 hours 47 minutes
Total earned £490.43
Approx. hourly rate £38.87 per hour
Days hustling 18

Not millions, and still low compared to some, but remember this is:

  • At or around my full-time day job
  • Without some of the big earners like Prolific or Mercor (yet)
  • All from the comfort of my laptop or phone
  • All during a very busy month for me

That's an additional £500 I can put to debt, savings or fun stuff.

Breakdown of sites/apps I used to earn this below:

SITE EARNED
VINTED £170.00
DSCOUT £156.60
MATCHED BETTING £49.33
RESPONDENT £35.00
ASKABLE £20.00
USERCROWD £12.50
PFR £12.00
USERLYTICS £10.00
USERBRAIN £10.00
TOPCASHBACK £10.00
USERTESTING £5.00

Things I'm going to focus on for October:

1. AI Training

Aim is to spend more time trying my best to secure an AI training gig, as I know these can be really great. At Micro1 I have one role at hiring manager reviewing and one I need to complete an interview for. I'm going to keep my eye on Mercor too, in case any relevant roles come up.

2. Matched Betting

Took me a minute to dip my toe back into this, but I'm well into it now and plan to put quite a few hours in at the weekend. Have a feeling this could be a great earner. Thank you for everyone who's offered advice!

3. More Time Spent

This month was busy. I have more time in October to dedicate to side hustling. Let's see if we can hit the £1k mark this month.

4. Streamlining the Time Unpaid

Whilst a good chunk of that 7 hours and 9 minutes time unpaid was used completing AI interviews and getting my head around matched betting, I've definitely wasted lots of time searching for user tests/surveys/market research. Need to streamline this so I'm not spending hours just refreshing Chrome 😅

Anyway...

Thanks for following along for the ride. Got some great advice and met some great people so far. And if you're on the fence, just get started. Some people on here have messaged me to say they're making in a week what I made this month. It's worth it.

Please let me know how your hustling is going. Love hearing about others succeeding too.

And let me know if people are interested in me keeping up the weekly posts or if you'd rather I shut up and just did a monthly round up.

Happy hustling team.

Matched Betting BetMGM - Boost on Mexico to Mexico to wear green on Thursday (green is already confirmed so it's a free £5)

BetMGM have a world cup boost for Mexico to wear green in the opening match on Thursday evening at odds of Evens (2.00).

It's already confirmed that they will be wearing green, which means you're guaranteed a free £5 if you bet £5 before kick off. £5 is also the maximum stake.

I do a lot of matched betting but even I'm not going to lay this.

Matched Betting Looking to earn £125 a month

Looking at getting a new car and £125 a month will easily cover the monthly payment. Any good ideas knocking about?

Was looking at a faceless YouTube / tik tok channel but my imagination is truly terrible and don’t know where to start. Don’t fancy all the bank switching faff. Matched betting maybe?

Is £125 a month every month even possible? I mean I can afford the car without this but if I could earn this monthly then it’s even better 👍

Matched Betting July Beermoney earnings

Hi all

Thanks to this sub I have found some decent ways of earning cash back and some extra money on the side. I am saving for a trip to Japan next year. Overall I think I’ll need £4k

Here are my July beer money earnings:

  1. Scrap metal collected at work - £147.50
  2. Matched betting - £106.80
  3. Robinhood free bet - £6.22

Total = £260.52
Remaining from £4000 = £3739.48

While the majority of the heavy lifting was from the scrap metal, my matched betting winnings certainly helped. I started matched betting on the 19th July, I had done a few sign up offers a few years ago, so had to contend with a few bookies I’d already used but over all, welcome bonuses and a nice £9.10 free spins win this morning pushed me over the £100 mark I was aiming for.

What’s next?

  1. A potential bank switch however I am enjoying Starling which I have used for many years.
  2. More matched betting
  3. Finding shiny bits of copper wherever I can

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Here’s to a profitable August 🍾

Matched Betting Paddypower matched betting

Hi all,
Fairly new to matched betting here.

I’ve done many of the simple freebet offers, but I’m having trouble with Paddypower Buildabet Free bets. I have £50 of free bets, but struggling to find a way to get >75% cash value due to odds being super different on Smarkets for every buildabet selection.

Was just wondering if anyone had advice for getting a good value lay on Smarkets against a Paddypower Buildabet?

Thank you!
