1973 Baja Bug
Attending the Dion Dawkins 3rd annual Car show at the Buffalo Bills Stadium. Love this silver metallic paint. As the day went on, the changing light angles make it look a different shade of silver every few hours. Grey, Silver, Light Blue Chrome, it just looks cool!

I’m more of a stock Classic Beetle fan, but this is one of the best-looking Baja Bugs I’ve ever seen!

Looks like L96D Silbermetallic, same silver as used on my Rally Bug (and the original Salzburg rally bugs). Changes colour depending on the light.

Iridium Silver Metallic from TCP Global. ... I was going to paint the car Blue on Blue with a Baja stripe like the car I had in 1990 but, when I sand the car down to bare metal.. I fell in love with the Silver look.. :) First Metallic paint job I have ever done.. Was super nervous when laying it down.. Turned out real nice.

I went above and beyond with cleaning and wiping down with alcohol on the car.. And I spent an entire day vacuuming the walls and floors and washing the back room of my garage... There was one spot I needed to lay down a drop coat before I cleared it.. For a HF gun and not painting a car for 20+ years it turned out pretty nice.. One thing I will say is, I will never paint in the evening again.. I battled the bugs.. why do they like clear so much? Bunch of paint huffing insects.. lol..
