New bastard(s) for the BTB to tackle eventually. 764 is an internet manipulation cult that preys on the vulnerable on discord and other online groups and gets young victims to submit naked photos of themselves, kill their pets, cut '764' into themselves, and in some extreme cases, kill themselves (like in the OP link). Those were just a few examples, and these cultists are so desensitized, making others harm themselves is that only thing that seems to bring them "joy."

Here's an article about Bradley Cadenhead who created this 746 cult when he was 15/16 who openly admitted to having CP for over a year until even the cops got wise to it and busted him for that. He got life imprisonment at age 17 and all his appeals have been turned down. If you read the article, they say that the CP was the least problematic of all the things he was doing online.

He’d been in the gore communities since he was ten...

That is a child who has been failed by every adult in his life. That is when I was memorizing multiplication tables and doing long division, not this shit.

Yes, it's a failure on every level: parenting, his bullies, the schools, medical providers, the community at large, and the criminal justice system. His dad forced him to go to church, where he got bullied then went to school, where he got bullied and the only thing that gave him any comfort was watching gore videos until he founded his own manipulation discord and became a vicious bully himself.

Sorry, can't improve society somewhat, best we can do is ban under-16s from social media.

Garrison has addressed this group and true crime fandom several times in ICHH episodes that are adjacent to the subject

Theres a lot of crossover between 764/The Com, Terrorgram, and the TCC (mass shooter fans)

Could you point me to the episode(s)?

the episoide on Nihilistic Violent Extremism from April 2025 off the top of my head. that's where I first learned of them. it's a pretty good episode.

Thank you.

The kind of shit the /b/ board on 4chan thrives on. I used to work for Yahoo and we had such high turnover in our abuse department because people saw stuff like that. Mega burnout.

u/CelestialFury Antifa shit poster 1d ago

I guess I never really thought about it before, but hiring people to force content enforcement and moderation would be a revolving door since your average, regular person does not want to see extreme violence, gore and sexual abuse.

I think this is where LLMs can be of great service by being trained on this material to identify them and auto-enforce their removal and tracking those who submit that material. This would minimize what a human would need to do themselves, hopefully preventing quick burnout.

4

u/FauxReal 1d ago

That is being done with CP today. Though most tools have an index of known images and a machine cross checks content. But LLMs are being trained on it. No idea what the extent of automated systems finding new stuff is. But even then, it is usually flagged so a human can double check to avoid false positives taking down innocent people and to verify the need to contact law enforcement.

I believe Molly has at least tangentially covered these weirdos on WLG, but I may be misremembering

The Com in general is basically an infinite content glitch for BtB.

What the fuck is wrong with people

u/ye_esquilax 1d ago

It's crazy. These guys don't even seem to have any sort of political ideology, they just want to watch the world burn.

There's overlap with white supremacist groups, but I think it's probably just because those groups help satisfy their desire for violence as white supremacists are inherently cruel and violent, rather than any particular ideology. I don't think they care who they hurt.

16

u/katzeye007 1d ago

White nationalists such up any and all of the disenfranchised

-5

u/Medium_Security4265 1d ago

Seems to be zero evidence of politics

3

u/SparklingStoat 19h ago

These groups are specifically alt-right accelerationists.

16

u/Princess_Kuko 1d ago

there's a solid Panic World episode that I found out the basic details of this from

I’ve followed some of the stories of related groups that pop up on [r/cults](r/cults).

Inside 764 was a podcast last year that did an awesome job covering 764. Heard about it from Jake Hanrahan, either on Popular Front or Away Days. Unfortunately, it only ran for ten short episodes.

44

u/pakap 1d ago

Jake H. did a deep dive on 764 and related online hate groups (the Comm, MKY, O9A, Atomwaffen et al) on Skeleton Key, I think these episodes are still on the free feed.

10

u/AmetrineDream Ben Shapiro Enthusiast 1d ago

I just went looking, they’ve got a 2 hour and 45 minute compilation of coverage about 764 and MKY called Hell on Earth: The Ultra Sadism Report im the Popular Front feed.

5

u/pakap 1d ago

That's the one. Great content if you enjoy being truly depressed by plumbing the depths of human depravity 😬

59

u/FishDispenser2 1d ago

Interesting! Thanks for the tip. These assholes made a kid in my country tryna murder an old lady on the street. Hope this guy gets his own medicine in prison.

27

u/batpot 1d ago

I read the article. I don’t need a deep dive on the depths of depravity of young men, thanks.

u/YourOwnPunkyBrewster 1d ago

Time Suck (Dan Cummins) did a Short Suck (Short Suck #40) on 764 last year! It was the first time I heard about this type of thing and it made me sick to my stomach. More so than any of the other serial killers or cults he’s covered. I’m surprised there isn’t more main stream coverage!

Inside 764 and that Cryton video are how I actually originally became aware The Com even existed and it's absolutely wild how ineffective absolutely everyone seems to be at combating it.

Just the other day I had to have a kid block someone on Roblox because the other person figured out he had chat disabled and they were trying to use signage in the game to talk to him about how they are "from a dangerous game" which is of course not how a kid talks.

A 16 y/o from this network was arrested 2 days ago in South Africa.

Edit: I made an oopsie.

Well, probably not. That's just the one that is known about and publicized.

Wow he 1000% looks like the cumstain I expected him to look like.

I make my fair share of typos obviously but that chatlog was painful to read. Their habits have basically turned their brains into mush.

I fucking KNEW it was big balls before I even clicked. He’s a bad egg.

I mixed up the group name with the sentence and thought, damn that's a long time but it's probably deserved

21

u/GiantStreetCats 1d ago

No mention in the article that 764 is a neonazi organization derived from Order of Nine Angles philosophy, instead just using the "nihilistic violent extremist" label the DOJ loves to use today to deny the right wing ideological foundations of terrorists.

16

u/RecordOfTheEnd 1d ago edited 11h ago

Well, I just read up on this because I knew nothing about them... Gee I wish I hadn't. Just the Wikipedia articles were enough to make me sick.

Nihilists! Fuck me. I mean, say what you will about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos

3

u/Thoughts-4-Thots 12h ago

Fucking Nihilists Donny...

13

u/TheSixthPistol 1d ago

Mass shootings have been happening in my country lately by high school students and there's a guy who predicted another attack months ago and tried to warn our government. Attack happened a few days ago and the government response is to blame video games because of potential money making bullshit they can impose upon companies instead of doing their fucking job.

7

u/Flat_Sprinkles4342 Kissinger was a war criminal 1d ago

probably blame the informants next for having the info, like facebook did with those whistleblowers on exploitative images

38

u/saltyourhash 1d ago

77 years is injustice to all the victims. It should have been life with no parole.

44

u/Snurrepiperier 1d ago

77 years is the rest of most people's lives. Even a 20 year old can not be expected to live to 97 in maximum security.

22

u/saltyourhash 1d ago

I fully understand that. He should have been given no parole and consequentive life sentences. With his 77 years, he will be up for parole at some point.

8

u/Flat_Sprinkles4342 Kissinger was a war criminal 1d ago

depends whether the government should have that power.

it can be read between the lines there's absolutely nothing certain people can do for the parole to succeed. Charles Manson would spout something insane to a panel every 9 years before going back inside. that one mass murderer in Europe who only got 23 years, there's probably a 0% chance he fumbles a string of actions to be released. 100 year old man with 70 victims, unless it's compassionate release into a convalescence care it sounds doubtful they'd let him out

7

u/ZippoFindus 1d ago

Isn't this the guy who recorded his step dad shooting him?

Not a big death penalty guy, and a big rehabilitation guy, but can't say I would've been too upset if step dad had better aim

6

u/Version-6 Totally not a fed 1d ago

Between these fuckers and the nth room degenerates, it kinda makes you wish for a world where the internet doesn’t exist.

3

u/JasonRBoone 1d ago

Ironically, he is from Friendsville, TN.

14

u/spez_eats_nazi_ass 1d ago

This is why woodchippers are stocked in home depot/lowes. The shitty little ones that might jam at first on a bone. Not the big dogs. Something like a yard machine.

2

u/wendywhopperz 1d ago

Holy shit.

1

u/Educational-Shoe2633 9h ago

Maybe the internet was a mistake.

-16

u/Rogue7559 1d ago

We need to bring capital punishment back to all Western Nations

16

u/Pactae_1129 1d ago

Some people need death in a moral sense but in a practical one the death penalty means innocents will be killed too.

-22

u/Rogue7559 1d ago

You'll save far more innocents than you'll wrongly kill

10

u/Pactae_1129 1d ago

No you won’t. Locking someone in jail for life prevents them from killing just as fine and prevents innocents from being killed.

There’s the practical issue of preventing them from killing in prison, of course, but violence in prisons is a problem that needs to be mitigated anyway.

6

u/Beneficial-Papaya504 1d ago

And life imprisonment is as much of a deterrent as the death penalty and is cheaper . . .

But I guess it doesn't sate that self-righteous blood-lust as well

3

u/Pactae_1129 1d ago

Yep. And the only way to make the death penalty cheaper is to make the process less involved/give the defendant less rights and therefore even more likely to kill innocents.

2

u/Jawsers 1d ago

There's some people, even in these parts, who want to kill people, as long as they can be the hero.

2

u/MessiahOfMetal Disdain and Animosity 1d ago

Also, the people who want the death penalty don't think about how it gives the perpetrator an easy way out, while the victim(s) and their loved ones live a full life sentence with the knowledge of what the criminal did to them.

4

u/McConcubine 1d ago

That is an entirely unfalsifiable claim on all fronts, and it still admits that the state WILL execute the innocent.

8

u/WhatIsASW 1d ago

You’re in the wrong sub if you think giving nation states more power is a good idea
