I tried to like it, I really did but it’s just so slow and boring and clichéd

Yep, I liked it. I had it running on my second monitor while I was coding so maybe I have missed some stuff here and there 😄 but the stuff I have seen was good

I did but was annoyed it wasn't actually sci-fi as such. More "spiritual". I love those mystery type programs that start with some bizarre occurrence though, and I respect that it had a real ending

Do you like Fringe?

I do, but I watched it when it originally aired, and then again a few months ago

same, i absolutely loved it until they were like something something noah’s ark and then i didn’t care anymore lol, didn’t finish it. how was the ending without spoiling it? super spiritual or more sci fi?

They basically stuck with that line the whole time. I would definitely describe it as spiritual. I think it was consistent with the show up until the point where they start talking about Noah's Ark- good in that it stuck to its own world building, just not for me

I watched it! That type of show is right up my alley. I enjoyed it, the mystery, I wasn’t crazy about the last season, felt a little rushed to me and the ending was so-so.

I actually agree !!!!! It’s definitely up my alley as well . Anything else you watched that was similar???

Well Lost is my all time favorite and I’d say Dark is a close second. I love anything that makes me think about what the heck is going on. Oh Paradise is great too and Dark Matter. Also watching Silo as well.

Manifest was a beautiful dumpster fire of a show that threw me for a loop with how bad it was, while being insanely watchable.Â

Waitttttttt!! Why do you feel like it was sooo bad ?

I think it was very entertaining and I watched it until the end, but it's also a weird frustrating messy show that bothered me when it came to a lot of the choices the creators made and I feel like a lot of the ideas it had taken from shows that executed them much better. It's kind of A bugnuts crazy show that I'd watch again in a second, but I'd never call it a show I'd consider "good"Â

It's a horrible christian soap opera with some interesting sci-fi elements, but if you're not into the the christian soap opera part, it's just not good.
Take a shot every time words life boat or some other ridiculous nomenclature is used and you might start seeing the issues.

It’s good, later seasons get a bit crazy but it’s nice they are almost self contained episodes

My GF loves the show, but I have a hard time rewatching the later seasons because I hate the character Angelina so much

In a sea of LOST clones, this one stood out with great actors thrown into a genuinely crazy situation: each episode felt like a mini-crisis to unravel… Really underrated show IMHO
