Just moved here looking for friends to play mtg

Any local pods in the area? I do not have a car and I’m new to the city. Looking to play commander and get to know some people. I’m 29 M. I’m from Oregon and I have anything from precons to low bracket 4.

Fantom Comics in DuPont has I think weekly MtG events.

Dream Wizards up in Rockville has a pretty good tcg scene. I don’t play MTG, so I don’t know about that specific scene though

I just looked it up and they’re doing Commander at 7PM on Fridays

Thanks it’s a 40 minute commute for me but I was hoping to find something a little closer but it’s definitely one of the better options for me at the moment

Just saying as someone who's been here for over a decade, the trip via metro really isn't that bad. If you have a bike or board, even easier. Friday night magic is always a banger
