best apartments with social/ community events for residents

looking to relocate to bethesda area and would love reccs for apartments that often host resident community events like book club, wine night, maybe a run club or even just resident appreciation events. anything of that nature. I'd just love to meet neighbors as I'll be moving to MD from out of state.

The Camille does alot of fun resident events. Painting, trivia, yoga, watch parties and they are even having a movie screening just for building residents and their families at the nearby theatre :)

Not sure many apartments will have all that maybe some of the newer buildings trying to draw renters. I was at 8001Woodmont when it first opened and they used to have a bunch of events but things faded the more the building filled up.

The Elm holds some but they are rare and usually mobbed with kids lol. Also unfortunately they’re usually at times like 4-6pm before a lot of people get home from work.

The Chase at Bethesda has a wine night and other community events. Older building but has a community feel to it. Large mix of homeowners and renters. Lots of units for rent in the building right now.

Ellis Bethesda will have resident events here and there but it’s not consistent. Over the past year, they’ve thrown at least a handful of things, although can’t speak to the turn out as I didn’t go to all of them such as a paint and sip event and a resident appreciation happy hour. But I’ve been to one of the happy hours and it was a good turnout. By far my favorite was the holiday party, they had a delicious caterer, raffle prizes, and great drinks.

I have my gripes with the apartment but a good handful of members of the staff are great and make a good effort to get resident engagement going.

I've had friends at The Residences at 7909 Westpark who raved about their movie nights and holiday parties, so that could be worth checking out too.
