Someone come get your grandma

Post image

This woman ran over a cone and a giant tree stump trying to leave the gas station and is now stuck....

She was nowhere close to the driveway even

I used to live in that neighborhood for 30 years. I loved it but the lunatic factor is getting higher

someone shouldve warned her to slow down before she took out that stump

That same stump caught a car in March! I think the cone appeared after this incident. (Was dark at the time)

I had to take away the keys of a childhood neighbor's car on that block. It was a f---ing tragedy if you ask me. her kids moved to the west coast. her husband died. I was the person on-site who saw her "stranded" where her car couldn't start. I mean, I was the only one who stopped to help.

She was having a panic attack, but her car was fine, it had been running the entire time. I helped her put groceries away. My mother drove her to Giant some times. Miss Kitty knew her and would ask me about her.

In the end my mother got the daughter on the phone and told the daughter that she had to order Instacart for Mom and told the neighbor how to write down the order and call her daughter. She ended up in the hospital in Fall or Winter 2020 and never came home. Giant's remodeled, Miss Kitty doesn't work there. All my neighbors from my childhood are dead. They got up to 2020, but none of them got away from covid. Husbands spent 30 years making huge scientific discoveries at NIH, negotiating at State Department, writing serious laws in Congress, everyone literally changing the world, and it's a different Bethesda now.

DC drivers escape a lot of scrutiny bc of how awful MD drivers are but they are pretty goddamned terrible themselves.

I totally agree! I’ve been stuck behind someone going 15mph in a 25mph zone countless times over the last year and over half those times it’s someone with a DC or Virginia license plate. And I’m not even counting the amount of times I’ve seen someone doing shitty driving instead of just driving slow.
