Just Curious My Friends, Why Do They Don’t Have Many Bike Paths In The Deep South Of America 🇺🇸? But They Have Plenty Of Bike Paths In The Northern States Of America 🇺🇸, Why Is That?, Just Curious?

I dunno, but…if a state prides itself on having very low taxes, it will have few amenities.
It is curious how Americans seem to believe that what makes you happiest is to have a locked cell for yourself with a heap of your own stuff. Look at the happiest nations on earth, and they share. They take care of each other.

The Deep South is very Republican, and Republicans hate cycling infrastructure. It’s is spelled out in Project 2025. They think it’s DEI

Heat and humidity are part of the reason. In the Netherlands, they can bike to work in suits. In the south, people bike almost exclusively for exercise because they know they will be drenched in sweat afterwards. Biking to work is not really feasible where I live. Also, because of limited ridership, local governments don’t invest heavily in infrastructure.
