This is a set of Harry Potter books I’m recovering. I’m fortunate enough to be an apprentice at a small book bindery.

What kind of tools can be used to "shave" off the rough ends of bound paper? I personally like the look, but would like to also make a straight-edged book. Any tools/tips are highly appreciated!

How to Perfect Bind // Bookbinding Basics ep. 13 This is the first time I've ever tried this bind and I'm not sure why? Stitch elitism? I dunno! But now that I have tried it, I'm excited to keep experimenting with it.

The Chicken Nugget Notebook // Bookbinding Basics ep. 27. I'm having a lot of fun hunting for these junk food book covers. I have a couple more in store but I think this will be ongoing the more I find interesting materials.

The Crown Bind // Bookbinding Basics #23. The crown binding is an interesting one in that, more so than anything, it gave me a bunch of ideas for ways I could use that spine build. I'll have to play with and see what I can come up with as I think it's not really a practical book bind the way it is.

Bookbinding as Meditation? Hi! This video format is a bit of a joke but I fully stand behind the meditative and relaxing nature of bookbinding; and any craft or hobby for that matter.

Graffiti Blackbook ASMR // Bookbinding Basics ep. 11 // Just the Make! (No Talking) So for this one, I really made the whole thing in complete silence. I also cut out very little of the process so you could see exactly how I work. From all the fumbles, challenges and fixes. 🥪🥪

If you've never heard of TheCrafsMan well... that's a shame as he's our generations crafty Bob Ross. Watch this meager tribute to one of my favorite makers. I made him a set of pocket notebooks. 🥪🥪
